Nails Did: Glimmering White
Wet n Wild French White Creme + Jesse's Girl Fire Fly
I broke one of my nails the other day, and since another one had a corner chipped off, I decided to cut them all down to have a fresh start. I opted for white beause I wanted a break from crazy designs.
To make it more interesting, I added Fire Fly on top. Fire Fly contains pale yellow glass flecks that shift purple, and I was really curious as to how it'd look like over white. (You can see the color shifting flecks best in the bottle in the second picture.) The result wasn't anything spectacular, but it did add nice dimension to an otherwise flat color.
And just in case you were wondering why I was in the mood for something so simple...
Prior to my polish change + cut down, this is what I had on! I let my cousins and their friend do my nails (:
Yep, this is what happens when you let two 11 year olds and one 5 year old get creative on your tips. Hopefully you can see why I wanted something really plain after, haha.
