Epi Amande

One day, when the bestie and I were hanging out, we stumbled on a random cosmetic boutique. This shop stands out in my memory because I remember the sales lady doing a demo on a strange face misting contraption. It's also where I purchased my first Paul & Joe polish! I've been wanting to try their polishes for the longest time, and I was thrilled when I discovered this mylar flakie lacquer!

I decided to use it as an accent with Re-fresh Mint--a soft, light mint green. I was a bit bummed to discover that my Paul & Joe polish had a consistency of Jell-O, but I made it work to the best of my ability. I'm debating what I should do with it, because I've never had a polish with that consistency, and I'm scared to ruin it with thinner. If you have any suggestions, feel free to let me know!

China Glaze Re-fresh Mint + Paul & Joe 028

As I admired my completed mani, I realized that it matches my wallet! (That's the last picture shown above.) I can't wait to wear Re-fresh Mint again. Do you love the color as much as I do? (:

I hate that the polish was so weird, but that mani is seriously gorgeous! It looks so clean and elegant! <3

Re-fresh Mint looks gorgeous on your skin tone, so pretty and delicate and the flakie looks like a perfect match too.

I love how soft and delicate this is! This P&J mylar reminds me a lot of Color Club's Covered in Diamonds. Does it lay flat on the nail?

This is lovely! I like how delicate the pastel color looks~
I'd still try thinner, I had to do it to my bottle of DL stairway to heaven, but you can bet I was terrified of first trying it. You could try adding clear polish, but it might overfill.

I love the softness of refresh mint!! It just seems so comforting...if that makes sense.

it almost looks like specks from a diamond, I think you should add a bit of thinner to help the consistency :o I hope it doesn't ruin it though

holy crap, your application of Refresh Mint is perfect! I suck at applying pastels on my nails. And it looks so beautiful with your skintones... it gives me lobster hands :(

Oh, and that flakie is cute! Kinda reminds me of ChG Luxe & Lush :)
