I'm usually hesitant about purchasing high-end polishes because I don't know if I'll like the color enough to warrant the purchase, but I'd totally make the splurge on the Deborah Lippmann version if it's just as good as this Essence one! This jelly sandwich in a bottle looks awesome on my tips, and I only needed one layer of top coat to obtain a super smooth finish. I definitely recommend this polish if you have access to it!

On a side note, I'll be leaving for my trip tomorrow! I'm gonna be flying to Seattle, and then taking a round-trip cruise to Alaska and back. I've prepped a bunch of scheduled posts so my blog will be up to date, but I won't be able to check my blogroll, comment, or tweet until I get back. Catch you guys in a week or so!

And I totally get you, I wouldn't have spent $18 on this polish before, but now that I've tried its awesomeness I say kudos, Deborah Lippmann, you're one genius gal.

Across the Universe was my first Deborah Lippmann, and first nail polish splurge. Absolutely worth it. Damn, I'm so jealous you're going on an Alaskan cruise haha! Have fun!

This looks gorgeous, I'd skip the DL and stick with Essence.
Pretty! I have DL Across the Universe and I love it, but it would have been nice if this was available instead - could have saved some $. Have fun on your cruise. My bf and I did a Holland American cruise to Sitka, Glacier Bay, Ketchican and Victoria Bc and then hung out in Seattle for a few days. It was wonderful - Went whale watching and everything!!

wow this one is so pretty and vibrant! i can't believe it's from Essence~ We have Essence here too, but most of my experiences with Essence polish where terible.. But this one looks very pretty! Ohw and i'm quite late.. But i still wish you an awesome trip! :)
I've been wanting this one (can't find it anywhere, obviously), however now I want Orly Go Deeper instead, from the FX line. It's said to be the teal version of this! And I loooove me some teal! Should be easier to find, too! :)
