I recently found this sweet necklace at H&M and it caught my eye immediately. I love its bright colors, and the gunmetal chain gives it a bit of an edge and adds a nice weight. The style of the necklace reminded me of braids, which led me to create this rainbow fishtail nail design that I'll be showing you today!
For reference, the colors I used were:

LOVE the rainbow fishtail accents! Braids perplex me...if you ask me to draw one without reference, it comes out as a tangled mess.

Ahhh those bright colors are paradise! Your braid is perfect! How did you do it? I am struggling not to end with a sloppy tip of 3inches all the time... the braids kill me! I'm so jealous of yours :p!

@ criminal nails: there's actually a bunch of tutorials on this design, you basically paint the polish diagonally, alternating colors while you go from side to side and downwards (:
@ estivalia: this was my first time and it wasn't too bad! i think the key is using polishes that are opaque in one coat and have nice brushes so that they're easier to work with.
