When it comes to trends, I'm sure most of us can agree that fall is reserved for vampy hues. Even though I'm not one to follow seasonal trends, I've found such a perfect color that I could rock it all season long!
Do you know polish I'm referring to? It's OPI Louvre Me Louvre Me Not! This polish is a deep purple creme with hidden shimmer, and it's so great because it's buildable. I used 3 coats in the pictures below, and you can see how the swatch on my nails is darker than the polish bottle. As much as I love how black polishes photograph, I feel like they really suck the life out of my hands in person. For this reason, I prefer to wear vampy shades because they still give off that edgy/sophisticated vibe.
The name of this polish will always trigger The Da Vinci Code in my mind. Have any of you read that book, or visited the Louvre? I remember how stoked I was to visit the Louvre after reading the book, but I totally hyped it up for myself. It was still a great experience, though! I miss the sights in Paris, the street style, the shopping, and the crepes! I really hope I can go back someday <3

Have you found your perfect shade for fall? OH, and speaking of which, have any of you gotten your hands on the OPI Skyfall collection yet? It looks like they've got some really nice shades in that collection--what are your thoughts it?

I think my all-time favorite fall shades come from the OPI Russia collection. That and France were my gateway collections, LOL.
I have On her majesty's secret service yet to try. That's the only one I picked up from Skyfall. I miss Paris too. Les couleurs de ma vie.
I don't wear vampies myself :( on the colder season I tend to go for dusty, unsaturated colors, but not really vampies.
Anyway, I love how you added a bit of sparkle to your mani, looks gorgeous :D
I read the Da Vinci code too!, but never went to France, sadly xD
