Leaves

Today I'd like to feature another polish I found at my mom's shop, New York Summer Hot Purple. It's a juicy purple jelly that I layered with Sally Hansen Hidden Treasure.

You can tell from the bottle that I've used Hidden Treasure plenty of times. I had to search all over for it, before settling to get it through a swap. I was so excited to have such a unique polish that I layered it over everything when I changed my polish weekly. This was when I was new to the nail game, when my polish collection was under 20 bottles!

New York Summer Hot Purple + Sally Hansen Hidden Treasure

I love how this combo turned out, because the flakies look like leaves transitioning colors (:

really wish they still had this version of Hidden Tresure. It is now a sheer pearl/irridecent color with a purple undertone....not the flakies. Essie Shine of the Times and Color Club Snow Flakes is the closest ive found.

Very pretty! I've seen Hidden Treasure on eBay for about $15 shipped, so I was suprised at how cheap it was for a hard to find polish :o

Loves! This combo looks a lot like that Deborah Lippmann polish Ray of Light =] I was amazed to get a bottle of HT from ebay... for just £3! I don't think the seller realised that was a stupid price to list it at =P Lucky me though =]

Wow, your nails are incredibly long!!! I can't grow them out like that, especially in the winter. I'm so envious!

This combo is so pretty! It reminds me of Fantasy Fire *o* I remember being lucky enough to find Hidden Treasure in stores. It was definitely one of my most coveted polishes until other brands jumped on the flakie bandwagon!

Love it! Love the color for I find it elegant and classy. This would be another addition to my purple collection.

Do you have any other red/green flakies? I can get you the Essence topper that has flakies and it looks just like this :) I have Nubar 2010 and this Essence flakie that I got as backup (in a couple months half of my Nubar 2010 was gone lol)
